For many years I worked as a portrait photographer, enjoying beautiful whole informal days with families in their homes, capturing something of the sweet relaxed essence of children.

Now I'm able to bring that same eye for the luminous magic of childhood into gorgeous and timeless mythical drawings of children, often with their kindred spirit animals or favourite pet.

I can sometimes work from good quality, well-lit photographs that you provide, and/or research images myself of particular animals. However for the finest results I recommend you commission me for the full package of photography and final drawing. In this way, I will spend some quality time with your child, getting to know them a little in order to bring some of their true nature to the artwork.
